When I mentioned in the last entry about me feeling creative, this is what I meant! I was browsing around some stuff for Fairy-Kei and someone had posted a link to Violet LeBeaux's tutorial list on her blog site! Curious, I looked around and saw some tutorials I wanted to try but probably wouldn't be able to do it in a while. ^^; But, I found the tutorial on how to make an iPhone jack accessory with old earphones and how to make an iPhone tail charm with an old charger. :3
I'd been asking my friends and coworker for broken charges and earphones. Of course, I get a lot of confusion but I feel silly telling them, "Oh yeah, I want to turn them into charms." Instead, I just say, "I found a way to recycle them!"
I mean technically it's true - I am recycling them, right? ^^ Anyway, right now I only had one broken charger so I decided to make my first tail charm instead!

I'm not sure how long you guys have followed Rainbow Chiffon but during the Wordpress days, I had mentioned I have astigmatism on my right eye - and because of that, I feel like I'm doomed to wear glasses for the rest of my life... And apparently, while Pinky Paradise does have circle lenses that can be worn with prescription, they haven't really been able to "fit" those with astigmatism. For those of you don't know know what astigmatism is, you can read up about it here on this site.
However, I got an email a few days ago from Pinky Paradise that Toric Circle Lenses for Astigmatism are now available there! Yay! According to the email:
These brand new series of soft toric circle lens is made-to-order by MI. From simple and natural to a more distinctive pattern, MI offers a few invigorating series that could subtly enhance your look, while providing you with the maximum comfort!
How exciting! So, now my goal is to figure out which eye actually does have the astigmatism and what my prescription could be for circle lenses. Hopefully, I could find a pair for myself that would really good on me~!
In the same email, there's also a new arrival of the Geo Eyes Cream Series!
Here's how the email described them:
Ice Cream Fever!! Get indulged with the sweetest Geo EyesCream Series this summer! Featuring 3 lovely designs, these 3-tones circle lenses will instantly transformed your eyes to a more mysterious, cute, and innocent look! ?
Pick your flavors now below:
If there's anything I would love to try it would probably be the Chocomousse or the RayRay Grays. Hmm. Not sure though. Which one would you like to try?
Anyway, if you do decide to order these, don't forget to put in rainbowchiffon to receive a free mysterious gift! comments powered by Disqus

Yes, that is my actual printing!
Since I want to be a Gyaru, I really want to get to know people and talk to them. Hopefully, they can give me advice on makeup, clothing styles, or even just adding stuff to my style! I know I'm not truly Gyaru yet but it's kind of hard...
And why is it hard? Because the Gyaru community, it feels like, are separated from one another. There's always some kind of drama (especially on the infamous Gyaru Secrets) or that people just don't have time to update a blog every day or comment every where.
This was mostly inspired by a post on the Forever Gyaru Forums about how to gain more followers and comments but, it's something it's been on the back of my mind for a while now... Well, also, I was inspired by the Lolita Blog Carnival group as well.
So what I was thinking of doing - we can also start a group as Gyarus (and aspiring Gyarus, of course) where we blog once a week or so about a particular topic and we can comment on each other's posts and follow each other!
Of course, I'd be willing to help hosting this but I would like to have another Gyaru (actually, a more experienced one) because I don't think I can think of all the questions by myself or topics or maybe even activities for us to do with one another!
What do you think? Feel free to post questions, comments, ideas, or whatever! I would hate to see the Gyaru community fall apart because of the drama. I really want at least to try to be friends with people and learn more about Gyaru and what it means to be Gyaru! comments powered by Disqus

I've written about J-Chola before but I've decided to check on it again to see if it's still popular or if it was just a passing fad.
From what I can gather: it's still going strong! Okay, so maybe not that strong or as strong as the more obvious but it doesn't seem that Tumblr blog isn't short on J-Chola pictures (up and including that beautiful hairstyle up above). Although, there's still only a few Japanese bloggers who actually document this: vida (she even types in a little Spanish), MoNa aka Sad Girl (including a DJ named, would you believe it, DJ PaCo), and Yuu Irie.
Honestly, I'm just fascinated by them. As a Latina interested in Japanese fashion, I actually kind of want to reach out to some of the J-Chola out there and meet them. However, I'll probably have more luck if go around Los Angeles moreso than Arizona, of course. But who knows?
Sadly, since I can't speak Japanese and barely any Spanish, and I'm not sure about their English proficiency I don't think I'll ever get to talk to them.
And it seems that someone is buying anap's Latina as you can tell from here: anap Latina. Although, truth to be told, I really do like this version of the cat beanie!
