Once again, I got very busy with work... There was some drama that meant everyone had to pull in extra hours, including me. So for a while there, I wasn't able to do what I normally do - check my email!

And it's a good thing I did because I had been personally invited to join this new platform called Bbloggers.net!

They have three main purposes: Social, Connect, & Effective.

What do these words mean to this platform?

  • Social: Blog out reach allows a multi dimensional approach by not only providing visibility through respected blogs but also via their social channels, as well as our own.
  • Connect: We aim to connect business to blogger, to provide a mutuality benefiting relationship. The industries we work with include fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and parenting.
  • Effective: By using our services your business is able to target a highly specific set of bloggers based on their blog type, location, and experience.
How unique! I haven't heard of a service like this - it'll be beneficial for someone like me who's always trying to find new things to review! As of this post, though, it seems that there are a lot of bloggers (including me) who had already signed up but no businesses. ^^

If you happen to know any business, or if you own an independent business yourself, I think this could be a great way to find bloggers you can sample your products to in order to accumulate more business! Don't you think so? Right now, it's still its beginning stages but this could be a wonderful new thing!

Though, if you have any additional questions you can check out their social links: Google+TwitterFacebook

What do you think? Are you going to sign up? ^^

One day, Diana had messaged me out of the blue and asked for my address. ^^ Confused, I gave it to her and within a week, I had received my package from my lovely Diana. :3

But, let me preface this post with something that had been on my mind for a while ever since I got this package.

Lately, I've been feeling a little lonely. Actually, let me rephrase that. I've been feeling like I haven't belonged in my group of friends lately.

It's mostly my fault though, because I have this problem of being a combination of shy and paranoid. It's not a good combination. Sometimes, I'm afraid to open up and, at the same time, I'm very scared that I'll get hurt again. I'll admit - I did not have a very good life growing up. My suspicions about certain people were confirmed in ways that has haunted me for years and because of that, it's very hard for me to get close to people.

However, the people I am close to - I cherish them and I'm extremely loyal to them. I will fight for them. I will do anything to make sure that they are happy. This is the sort of person I am and I will always be.

So when Diana not only send me this package, but wrote the letter she wrote that came with the package, my heart ached a little more. It's not because she said anything bad or mean. Quite the opposite, actually.

It made me realize that I should cherish and trust my friends more. I should trust that they want me around. I should trust that they're not going to hurt me. I don't want to be hurt like that again, but... I should be a little bit more open with my friends. I hope they can forgive me for the distrust I carry. It's not because I don't want them around or I'm doing this for fun and games. But... just getting this package reminds me that there are people who do value me as a person, and as a friend. I only wish I could show my appreciation more.

I apologize for this huge essay but it's something that has been bothering me for a while. Anyway, underneath the cut are the pictures. ^^

Now, I'm going to talk about this site called modeS4U! If you remember, I made a post when I actually bought the charm on January 18, 2014. ^^ I got the shipping notice, finally, on January 20, 2014.

It took a really long while because it's being imported from Hong Kong, but I finally got my charm on January 29, 2014 along with two other very important packages - one of which I've already posted. ^^

Well, all things considering, I would definitely say the shipping is really good since it got here in only 9 days. NINE DAYS! Jeez. That's amazing. @_@ It felt longer, honestly, but that's what happens when you wait for packages, right? Time always seems to be a lot longer when you're waiting for something! ^^

Here's the package~! It's pretty small but, surprisingly, it was pretty secure! It had some ties on its back and, even though I was worried it would become unraveled on its journey, it was really was tied on tightly. No worries on that~!

After I pulled it out from the package, this is what I see:

A cute kitty bag! I think I'll save it for something else when I need to send or store something. :D But what's inside?

Well first, here's my free gift! I've read other blogs that they get sticker tape or something but I actually ended up getting a piece of green fabric - along with their business card!

Unfortunately, it's a green that it's not very pleasant on the eyes but, hm. Maybe I'll find something to use for it. :o

Anyway, on to my main package! :3

As you can tell, my charm is wrapped up safely in a plastic bag so she's safe from any potential dust and grossness that could get on her. ^^ She's so dainty, isn't she??

You can see the detail on on her. ^^ I have to be really careful though because the sheer that covers half of the head and not only that, the strings on the cellphone part might tear (but that's not modeS4U's fault - it's just how it's made). Not only that, you can see the star with the R in the middle.

Let's look at that, shall we?

As you can tell, it has the official Rilakkuma 10th anniversary and San-X's logo on there! Now we know that she's an official part of the franchise!

Well, I really hope so. For the price the I paid for this charm, it came to about roughly $9.07, including shipping. This isn't bad at all and there are options to get it earlier but, no, this came in about roughly 9 nine days.

They do have other things they sell other than charms of course. They sell fabrics, DIY kits, stuff for crafts (which is something I really need to get to), bags, wallets, stationary and much more! ^^

Anyway, here's some extra pictures I took!

"I'm not dainty!"

Rilakkuma with his steed!

Location Online, but ships from Hong Kong.
Service Excellent. Communication is always open and they seem to be continously active on their social accounts!
Products With a variety of cute things, cute crafts, bags, and other things, there always something new in their selections!
Prices The prices are pretty decent but it helps when they're on sale.
Overall 9/10 - it's really a price gripe but the service is great! The shipping is incredibly fast, especially from Hong Kong, but the prices a little high for me at times.

Yes, this is belated because, as usual, I had to work through the holiday... And then as soon I was done, Billy took me over to a friend's house and eat and burn the paper, all before midnight!

But I have some good tidings to bring. ^^ First thing is first - BILLY HAS A JOB! Yay! It's a really good job so the pressure is off of me. Of course, I can't just buy everything I want (not yet anyway) but this will give me some time to save up some money for Anime Expo! ^^ Yay~! Finally~!

Second thing on my mind is that - my weight loss seems to be imminent because, for literally 4 to 5 days, Billy and I have portioned our meals and we had already lost a few pounds! It's amazing how much we can do... Soon we're slowly starting to start exercising more but it's a little hard since we're doing it at home. ^^ I have a terrible habit of being a little more lazy when I work out at home... But I believe in myself! I know I can do it!

And finally thirdly, there's two more posts I'm going to make! I have received packages from Diana and Crees! How generous of them! <3 So I just want to apologize in advance for all the posts I'm about to make. @_@

Because I want to get from smallest to largest (I took a lot of pictures for these hauls, I was too excited!), I'm going to start on Crees's package first! :3

I've always seen these around other people's blogs but it looks like Zoe of That's Zoe! has finally nominated me for one! *_* Thank you so much!! I'm so excited to finally do one of these. ^^ Anyway, here we go~!

RULES
  1. Thank the person who nominated you, and post a link to their blog on your blog.
  2. Display the award on your blog - by including it in your post and/or displaying it using a "widget" or a "gadget". (Note that the best way to do this is to save the image to your own computer and then upload it to your blog post.)
  3. Answer 11 questions about yourself, which will be provided to you by the person who nominated you.
  4. Provide 11 random facts about yourself.
  5. Nominate 5 - 11 blogs that you feel deserve an award, who have a less than 1000 followers. (Note that you can always ask the blog owner this since not all blogs display a widget that lets readers know this information!)
  6. Create a new list of questions for the blogger to answer.
  7. List these rules in your post (You can copy and paste from here.) Once you have written and published it, you then have to:
  8. Inform the people/blogs that you nominated that they have been nominated for the Liebster award and provide a link for them to your post so that they can learn about it (they might not have ever heard of it!)
MY ANSWERS
  1. What's your most favorite part about blogging? Adding the content. ^^ I'm always trying to find something new either to share to or to explore with my readers! Sometimes there are days where I'm just completely uninspired but, in all honesty, it's mostly laziness that stops me from posting so much, heh.
  2. What do you do other than blogging? I'm always on Twitter, Tumblr, playing Animal Crossing, browsing websites (most of the time, I'm doing some online window shopping).... but off the computer, I'm spending my time with Billy or I'm at work. I have friends I spend time with but they're usually so busy with family or work of their own. ^^
  3. What are your interests? Anime, video games, Japanese fashion (obviously), technology, cute things, anime figures, ball jointed dolls, JPOP, KPOP, and baking!
  4. What is your favorite TV show? Usually I would want to put an anime here but, heh, anime is an entire different category now. Hmm... Recently, Billy and I are caught up to Game of Thrones in a span of three days so I would say Game of Thrones. At least, for right now. :o
  5. If you were to be stranded on a deserted island, what three things would you like to bring with you? My cell phone, my laptop, and my blanket!
  6. What is your main goal for this year? To become happier with myself and to be confident in my looks.
  7. How would you like to see yourself in 10 years time? I would like to be married and maybe with a kid on the way (or already have a kid!) and I would like to be financially secured with a good career.
  8. Where do you want to travel? Japan, China, Hong Kong...
  9. Are you a listener or speaker? I like to think of myself as a listener but, let's be real, I'm probably more of a speaker...
  10. What do you like most about yourself - physical and characteristic trait? A physical trait I like about myself, are my naturally thick lips! A lot of women, I've noticed, try really hard to make their lips thick as possible when they have thin ones. I feel lucky that I don't have to do that to myself - instead it gives me a chance to experiment which look fits me best! As for a characteristic trait, I love that I'm really loyal to those I care about. I mean, yeah I'll call them out if they're being a butthole but it's not like I'll leave them in the first sight of trouble.
  11. Describe a dream vacation. I would love to visit Japan, and in Akihabara district where Billy and I can look at all the games, anime, and everything that we're interested in. ^^ We can go to a maid and butler cafe and buy cosplay outfits, figures, and doujinshi! Of course, money wouldn't be an issue!! And we can try all sorts of food! :3
FACTS ABOUT MYSELF
  1. Billy and I had been together for four years now (it'll be 5 years in November) - but we became official boyfriend & girlfriend after dating each other for three days.
  2. I have a birthmark on my right eyeball.
  3. I have an autistic younger brother.

Very recently, Billy and I had finally bought ourselves a digital scale. And, do you want to know how much I weigh now?

200lbs or 92kg.

Of course, I don't look like I'm so in maybe some of the pictures you've seen of me - but I'll explain to you where all that extra fat went. It went to my butt. It all literally went to my butt. Billy had been commenting to me that my butt had been getting bigger - however, I had thought it was only him trying to tease me or goad me on.

Now I know that it really isn't that case. Instead, since Billy is 200lbs as well, we're both going to lose this extra weight and firm up the booty! Most people are on the hunt for the booty - we have too much of it!

Because of that, I really don't want to schedule any pictures that shows my full body or anything. My goal is to surprise everyone with how I look now! I mean, yeah, I'm going to post a before and after picture but the first thing I need to do is to join a gym.

Billy actually enjoys working out but I promised him that I won't complain anymore about being hungry and  being sore (besides my legs and feet from work but that's a different story).

I feel ashamed of myself for letting my weight get to where it is but I honestly feel like I lost some... but now I realize it's just the front part. In order to make sure I feel entirely confident, I'm going to get to a proper size to where I'll flaunt myself more and actually want to show pictures of myself. I have been trying to lose weight for four years already and not once had I hit my weight and size goal.

This year is my year.

Once again at Pinky Paradise, there's a new series of contacts that you should check out! :3 Unlike the Geo Angel Series, this series has a tag line with "Lovely, Cutey, Sexy"!

And what are the colors this time? Well, there are: GEO Xtra WBS 204 Bella Brown, GEO Xtra WBS 201 Bella Violet, GEO Xtra WBS 202 Bella Blue, GEO Xtra WBS 203 Bella Green, & GEO Xtra WBS 205 Bella Grey.

Supposedly, this is going to give you a more natural look compared to other lenses. But, hm, it seems that they stand out a little bit more than usual. What do you guys think? Not to mention, it's a little bit more expensive that the others...But, Vassen is pretty expensive as well and they have more detailed patterns. I like the patterns myself, a little!

I think if there's anything I would get from this series, it's probably the grey or the brown one. How about you? :o

If you've read about me in the "about" section, you'll know that I'm a Virgo. ^^ But what you probably didn't know is that I'm a proud Virgo! I don't have anything that has the Virgo astrological sign on it because, honestly, a lot of them are extremely tacky, in my opinion.

Or if it's something I'm interested in, it's always expensive!! However, I was just browsing random kawaii stores until I saw this cute and adorable charm! It's a Rilakkuma zodiac set and they had the Virgo one for cheap! ^^

Aw man, though, I had to buy it! I caved and got it right away but I had purchased them from Modes4U, an official San-X retailer. ^^ I'm not going to expect them to be here right away, as I just ordered and purchased it. :3 That's okay... I shall try to be patient!

But anyway, I just think this charm shows off both my pride as a Virgo and show off who I really am - a girly Virgo who's just obsessed with Rilakkuma!! ^^

I had planned to make a blog post about this earlier but I had work. Thankfully, a coworker of mine switched days with me so I can relax before I work again for another long time.

Anyway! In this email I got, it looks like Pinky Paradise are starting to sell some more new lenses! The tag line is "shine bright like an angel", as this is the Angel series. c:

I've always wanted to get GEO as my first circle lens but, that didn't turn out that way since I got Vassen anyway. The new colors that's available now are: Geo Angel Brown, Geo Angel Grey, Geo Angel Green, Geo Angel Blue, and Geo Angel Violet.

Here's what the closeups look like:

Personally, I really like the blue ones and maybe the green ones. ^^ How lucky, though, that these lenses are only $19.90! That's not bad at all. :3 I wish I could get one of these but... there's something I'm secretly saving up for. I need to see if I can do it and I hope I can.

But these are so pretty! ;-; I really want to try these! Which one do you prefer? ^^ Do you like any of the colors here or do you wish to see other colors as well?

I got an email this morning talking about the new iPhone 5/5S cases in stock over at Kawaii Case! Today, they have new 3D iPhone 5 cases of Hello Kitty! As you can tell, there are 7 different colors (as usual), of the different colors you could get. ^^ And how much are they? Why, they're $21.99!

It looks like more and more cases are coming out for the iPhone 5 finally, right? :3

But if you're really tired of seeing the same Hello Kitty cases and want something different instead? There's these "Despicable Me" cases for not just iPhone 5, but iPhone 4 as well! I've never seen any of the movies and I don't really think these guys are cute but I know there are a lot of people who do! ^^

Which one would you want? ^^

Oh yeah! Don't forget to use the happynewyear2014 coupon code to get both 15% off and free shipping. :3

When I mentioned in the last entry about me feeling creative, this is what I meant! I was browsing around some stuff for Fairy-Kei and someone had posted a link to Violet LeBeaux's tutorial list on her blog site! Curious, I looked around and saw some tutorials I wanted to try but probably wouldn't be able to do it in a while. ^^; But, I found the tutorial on how to make an iPhone jack accessory with old earphones and how to make an iPhone tail charm with an old charger. :3

I'd been asking my friends and coworker for broken charges and earphones. Of course, I get a lot of confusion but I feel silly telling them, "Oh yeah, I want to turn them into charms." Instead, I just say, "I found a way to recycle them!"

I mean technically it's true - I am recycling them, right? ^^ Anyway, right now I only had one broken charger so I decided to make my first tail charm instead!

Today, I hung out with some friends for a brunch at a sushi place. :D No pictures because I forgot to take some but we hung out for a couple hours until our friend's son started to get agitated cause it was past his nap time. ^^ Plus, Tiffany had work later that afternoon!

At least we had a memorable photo to take with us, heh. ^^ I hope we can get together again really soon!

After that, Billy and I went to Michael's Arts & Crafts store because, lately, I've really been wanting to create some crafts lately!

Pucker up!

After that, we went to the World Market store that was nearby. ^^ We found a lot of funny things in there!

I'm sorry for the blurry shot!

Like they had popcorn with sriracha sauce. o_O; That's really... strange. They had that hidden too so no one could get to it unless they were specifically looking for it. But... I suppose I can understand. That is so weird! I don't know if anyone would try that! Would you?

But we also found some cute things too. ^^

It's nothing special, it's just pocky in Hello Kitty cups!

After that, we ate! ^^ And then we headed home. I didn't really like my outfit today to really post a breakdown of it (plus, I'm really bloated... I'm always bloated T_T Why am I always bloated!?). It was a fun day for us and I'm really glad that I got a chance to fully enjoy it with some friends, Billy, and, of course, food! ^^

Every time my boyfriend and I swing by Tempe Marketplace, we always see Portillos around and we would often wonder how this place would taste. We had never heard of Portillos as we're not from the Chicago (nor have we even visited there).

However, it very much was how we both expected. It's a very casual place where friends and family can settle down and have some fast food after a day of shopping. It's a nice idea but it's sort of out of the way for us since my boyfriend and I always go towards the main marketplace to shop or browse around.

it's not greasy! it's just covered in au jour!

I ordered a hamburger while my boyfriend ordered a combo (a hot dog with an Italian sausage and some roast beef). We had initially thought the combo was going to come with some fries and a drink but only I got the fries, as it came with my meal apparently, and I had to order us a drink. It's not a big deal or anything! I guess he and I misunderstood this kind of lingo, haha.

The burger was okay; it's a step up from McDonalds but that's all I can really say about it. The fries were average, but both the burger and fries were at least fresh. The hot dog my boyfriend was surprisingly good - only because we've been burnt before with restaurants who try to mimic others only in looks and not taste.

If we're not really feeling the other restaurants in Tempe Marketplace, I believe we'd come here just to get more of those infamous hot dogs.

On Billy's insistence, I stayed home from work today. I'm not feeling well at all because of sinus infection. T_T Even though I live in Arizona, the weather can drastically change... Not to mention, there's a lot of dry air as well. Because of these circumstances, I'm feeling really sick.

It really sucks because I can't eat certain foods even though I really really want to eat some... Billy has been taking care of me and even gave me some medication. ^^ So, all is not lost! In the meantime, I'm trying to make myself comfortable, since finally, Billy had purchased a humidifier so we both can breathe easier at night! ^^

Though, I'm not going to lie - I'm really frustrated, and sad, and mad at myself for getting sick. Usually I would get sick around Christmas, but I didn't. And yet now? I'm frustrated and mad at myself because I had to call out of work today but it couldn't be helped. I need to get some rest. It was really bad yesterday! Of course, I'll work harder tomorrow to show my bosses that I'm not going to make a habit out of it! I can't afford to!

But... Billy insisted. He told me he wanted me to rest today because all I'm going to do is make it worse. So I did. I'm staying.

Since I'm not feeling well, this gave me some time to browse my favorite Taobao tumblr blog, taobao-finds! It's just a blog where you can browse through the site and they find and pick things that's cute, fashionable, or stuff they know their readers are interested in and post them there! They would also post the source link in case we want to buy it. ^^

Of course, there's no question to whether or not I want to buy anything from Taobao, but the question is: what should I buy?!

I've heard of Taobao Ring and I've read some reviews: one, two, three (this one should link the second part on their entry ^^) -- but I'm always a little worried about it. Mostly because, they don't charge you by how much everything is (no, they add that on top of the commission they make), but how heavy it is. T___T Knowing me, I would want to buy a lot of things because the Yuan is very cheap since I'm an American.

But! I need to save my money for important things right now so I can't be shopping, no matter how much I whine or beg or cry. I have to be good!

Though, I can't help but wonder if buying a cosplay outfit from Taobao is a good idea. Probably not because if I put down a size... what if it's too big or too small on me? Oh, the dilemma! D: Same thing with clothes. Well, I guess this is why I always try to get the largest size...

But anyway. Also because I'm sick, I decided to finally sign up for a lookbook and I have a Facebook page finally. ^^ It's mostly cosplay for right now, but if I want to be even more confident with my looks this year, I need to put in some effort.

I need to showcase my look so I can see how much I've changed throughout the year. ^^ I just really want to love myself even more by doing fashions I would never have dreamed of doing last year - but accomplishing my goals this year!

But for now, you can see how empty my page and profile are on the side. ^^ I should think about changing my blog's layout for the new year, huh?

So I'm sure everyone has heard of the show "My Strange Addiction". It's a show on the American cable channel called TLC (short for, "The Learning Channel") where they showcase people with strange addictions that most people wouldn't even consider doing. This episode apparently aired on New Year's Day and it was an hour long special.

The special features the Living Ken Doll, Justin of Chicago, the famous or infamous Venus Angelic, and this girl named Emily or, known throughout the community as, Luna.

Now, I can understand why they would feature someone like Justin because, well, he's the Living Ken Doll!

From the Daily Mail
Another thing I can sort of understand adding is Venus Angelic. While Venus herself doesn't seem to be getting any work done on herself to get the living doll status - she does strive to be a living doll, though she uses J-Fashion and makeup as well as being cute as her means.

But the last girl they had on there... Her name is Emily, but she calls herself Luna (you can check out her Facebook page here). It honestly felt that, during her segments, they were making fun of her. Not only that, they showed a confrontation with her family saying how they don't "approve" of her fashion style and how they're so worried about how people won't take her seriously. But again, as an audience member, I felt that we were there to confront her about her fashion too and to laugh at the poor girl trying to defend her fashion choices and explain it to her family on why she feels the way she does with it.

The thing is though, this bothered me only because the girl, at least at first, seemed to want t just promote the fashion Lolita (or "Dolly", even though she seemed to have slipped up a few times). I've been reading some reactions about the show from other Lolitas and others who've written on the subject who are part of the J-Fashion community. They do not seem very pleased with it.

So basically, this show is just made to mock those who have stranger lives than the norm. Granted, it's fascinating to watch but, they do make it seem they do it for sheer shock value and not actually doing any research on why it's a thing.

Another thing I've come to learn is that TLC had lied to Emily about their intention about having her on the show.

Click to enlarge (posted by Venus Angelic Fanclub)

Both Venus and Emily were rightfully surprised at this. The thing is though, I also feel bad for Justin but in a different way. I feel there's a lot more to him than just what was portrayed in the show, because honestly, you really can't trust that kind of show when it comes to showing the facts about everything. And this is one of the best examples yet.

I really don't like these type of exploitative shows because of reasons like this. Sometimes, a lot of these things aren't really that strange at all if you would take the time to understand. The thing I don't understand is... why could Bronies (male and adults fans of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic) get a documentary green-lighted but Lolitas get mocked on a show?

I got an email from Kawaii Case this morning alerting me that they finally have some new iPhone 5C covers! ^^ Isn't it cute? It looks like it comes in seven different colors and it's not just a cover either! It's also a wallet and a stand for your phone! Wow, that's so convenient!

I'm still stuck with my iPhone 4S (with a broken screen...) but if I were to get one of these, I'd probably get either the purple or the black one. ^^ Maybe both since, hehe, you can never have too many covers... And the price is really good too!

$19.99 for this! Including the 15% off and free shipping (use the code happynewyear2014, don't forget), I'd say that's more than a pretty good deal, don't you think? If you want to go ahead an order one, you can just go here and complete your order. ^^

Ugh. When I was working extra hard the past two weeks, I've realized something: I cannot eat anything that requires a spoon and/or a fork. Why? Because Billy and I only have a couple at home and there's no utensils at work that I can use. I've been trying to find time in between days at work (and I'd even search during my lunch times/breaks) to search for a fork & spoon set that I could use whenever I'm at lunch or whatever.

There had only been a total number of one time I didn't have a spoon/fork with me (in which case, Billy had forgotten to give it to me) so I couldn't eat for that break time. It sucked because I was in a pretty sad mood on that day too... I'm very harsh towards myself so if I fail to do a certain task that's important, I tend to beat myself up over it. :\ It's something that I really need to stop doing!

Anyway, so I started my search and even asked my Twitter friends. Diana actually gave me this link on Ali Express and truth to be told there really wasn't anything that I wanted. I wanted a spoon & fork set, sure, of course, but I also really want a cute case where it won't get dirty. D: I'm paranoid enough - I don't want to make it worse for me!

Well, maybe this but I'd probably use this in a giveaway.
So it was back to square one. I searched on eBay but the ones that came up that I wanted (Rilakkuma because, of course, I'd want that) were $50-$60. o_o Like, why? Why??

I went to Amazon where I found this one and it's the cheapest one I could find with everything I want. Well, I could do without the chop sticks but that's okay. It can come too. :P Besides, Billy always teases me that I can't use chopsticks as well as he does! What a butthole! :o

If anything, I would consider buying this one because I have a strawberry bento box anyway (I should start using that to carry my lunches anyway) so it can match. Plus it's a spork! And it comes with a little case for the top. But I've never bought from this online store before so I don't know what to expect.

Should I just cave and get the spork or should I just get the Rilakkuma case? At least with the Rilakkuma case, it'd come with some chopsticks in case the mood does strike me. What do you think?

Guh! I hate being picky but then...it's probably a really good thing.

Since I've really wanting to try different styles, there's one style that I've been really interested in lately. And it's called fairy-kei. Oh, I still really want to be involved in Gyaru and maybe dabble a little into Ulzzang but ^^ I want to try fairy-kei! I've always really liked pastel and while I do very much still love Gyaru, I feel that I really can't be creative with it anymore.

Maybe it's because I'm older or maybe it's because I want to retain my youth, I feel that I should keep trying to have fun while I'm young. I'm sure there's even some Fairy Kei Mamas around! ^^ But if you don't know what Fairy Kei is, Chole had actually made a post about it on her blog!

Or what I could do, though, is use the Gyaru makeup and use the natural beauty of Ulzzang, and just style myself in wacky pastel colors. ^^ Hehe...I have some ideas already forming in my head! In fact, I've been looking at some wigs because while I already dyed my hair a lighter shade back in September, I'm still working in a customer service industry and I'm pretty sure they don't want me to wear crazy colors like pastel purple or neon pink. ^^;;

Plus the community seems like a lot of fun and everyone seems really nice! But then... that's what I first thought about the Gyaru community...

Finally, 2013 is gone and we can start anew with 2014! If you haven't already, here are my New Year's resolutions! Anyway, I wasn't able to update on New Year's Day to give a proper welcome into the new year...

But the reason why that's so? I've been working really hard these past two weeks! One of my coworkers had decided to take a break and spend time with some family (and take some time for himself) - and he specifically wanted me to take over those hours because I had started working there in November.

Needless to say, I am extremely tired but I'm also extremely grateful! All that hard work will not be for nothing, you know!

So yeah. Finally, I have some extra time right now to make a blog post and get started on my resolution to try and post on this blog more often. Of course, when I say post more often, I also meant my anime blog and my writing blog as well! I might just end up making everything into one blog though... Or maybe just two... I don't know... I've been up since 6am so I'm probably sounding really weird right now, haha.

Anyway... work was fine but my feet are really sore right now. Thankfully I have a day off tomorrow so I can just rest while Billy takes care of me, hehe.

One of Billy's Christmas presents came here today when I checked the mail - it's the first BEAST mini-album (or B2ST as they were known in the beginning)! I've always really liked their early stuff, so this was a real surprise! Even more so, since Billy doesn't understand why I love KPOP so much.

Though, when I went through the package, I didn't expect it to have all this! It came in a box where I can lift it open and inside is the photobook and the CD. Here's what it looks like with the photobook!

I'm really thankful to get something like this! Maybe one of these days, I'll make a page where it'll show all the Asian CDs I have... And believe me when I say I have quite a collection. ^^ I really hope I get to show all of you! I need to update it actually since Billy also got me Trap by Henry Lau and Mirotic by DBSK!

I already have TRI-Angle, Rising Sun, O, and now, finally, their last Korean album. I saw them in concert live back in 2008 when they went to the Hollywood Bowl. Their breakup affected me so much more than I anticipated... But enough about that.

I actually saw Beast live when they went to Hollywood Bowl in 2010! So I got their second mini-album, SHOCK!, there when I was in LA! ^^ So I guess you can say my collection for Beast is almost completed, right?

Anyway, finally, the coupon. The website, Kawaii Case, sent me an email regarding their first coupon for the new year! You would get 15% off of your order and free shipping! Just use the code happynewyear2014!!

I hope everyone is well! ^^

First of all: I owe everyone who still follows this blog a huge apology. Work at Sanrio (and another store the boss owned) wasn't the best at all. In fact, I have actually gotten fired from it. Here's my Tumblr post on why and what happened.

Thankfully, Billy was very understanding because he didn't like how they treated me along with everything else that was going on in that post.

It took a while but I managed to find another job. Billy and I dressed up for Halloween as each other and then we went out to have a nice dinner! Anyway, the holidays for us have been nice as well. ^^ Billy got me an Infinite backpack, Hello Kitty 3D phone cover for my phone, some KPOP CDs and plenty of stocking stuffers!

Needless to say, this year has a lot of milestones. I've finished college. Billy came back down here and we're in our own apartment. I've gained a job and lost one but gained another - another that's so much better. I've gained some friends back but I've also lost some as well. I tasted some new foods and I discovered some new places. I got some new plushies as well as gotten new hauls. All in all, it was a good and productive year for me.

So what's in store for me next year?

  • Healthier Diets & Weight Loss I know everyone says this every New Year's but I feel like I could make it. I know I can do it! I know it! The place I work at now actually has fresh foods and organic foods that I can snack on and buy groceries there. Not only that, I've been doing some extra exercise lately as well. My legs are already getting smaller but stronger. Let's hope this continues.
  • Becoming More Confident This is something I'm always working on and the next year, I'm planning to do things that I definitely wouldn't do otherwise. I feel that I could always feel better about myself and there's nothing wrong with that right?
  • Trying New Fashions/Styles Billy doesn't really like some of the fashion I'm interested in but fashion is always evolving and there's always something new to try. I don't have any idea of what fashions I want to try next year but I know it's going to happen. One thing is for sure, though, I know my fashion is definitely going to evolve.
  • Cosplaying I really want to cosplay especially for Anime Expo. Billy and I are planning to go to Anime Expo so as such I'm planning to cosplay. You can find out more on my anime blog on the details about that since I think I'm going to try to make this blog more personal and more about my weight loss goals more than anything.
  • Post On This Blog More Often! Well, that much was obvious but I'm going try so much harder to post more often. Hopefully, I can do it. I want to see if I could even start a giveaway. Either way, I miss the blogging community and I miss connecting with my readers and other bloggers.
And that's that. Hopefully, I'll be able to stick to this list and be more successful with this blog and hoping to become more beautiful than ever. What are some of your New Year Resolutions?

So, once again, I'm sorry for the lack of updates. T___T I've been really busy with work! I've been working everyday since Friday and putting in extra hours so I haven't had time to update or really do anything that warranted an update. ;;

But, like the title says, I've been a naughty girl! Ever since I was little, my family has a rule for me: Don't get anything for the month of August because my birthday is coming up! And eve after I left my mother's house, I've kept up this rule in case my loved ones wanted to get me something. ^^ I wanted to give them enough time to do it so I can surprised with what they've given me.

And so, I broke that rule.

Today, at work, we were checking in shipments for the new Hello Kitty line (that you can probably find at Sanrio) until I saw one of the plushies that came with it. Instantly, I fell in love with her because she's just so cute. ;~; I couldn't resist for too long, especially since there were only 6 of them available.

Anyway, to make a long story short, I caved and bought her!

Billy wasn't too happy with it but let it slide because he says he wants to save some money for my birthday... I'm sorry, Billy. ;~: But he may not think she's that cute, but I do! I'm really happy I got her when I did! Maybe the line will be popular! Maybe it won't... but there was just no way I was going to let her slip out of my hands!

Anyway, my friend, Mirza, showed me this online app before I left for work today~! :D Look at the Senshi I made based out of me:

Cute, right? Purple's actually my favorite color so that's why I chose them the way it is. :D Let me see your Senshis! Go here and link me to your blog posts with your Senshis. ^^ I want to see what they look like!
